Are you right?

One of my most entertaining things to see among people (myself included) is when one person is so sure they are right about something that they have to cease everything they are doing to make a point about being right. As if someone elses opinion threatens their very existance.
Can't we all be right? Is that possible?
I love the idea that we can be. And that we can all come to our own conclusions about every subject or thing in the world, and have the mental capasity to honor anothers rightness + conclusions + beliefs without putting them down, or trying to 'prove' them wrong with facts or statistics from others who beleve the same thing they do.
It never feels good- unless you like being right and angry. Personally, I think its remarkable that all of us could have different conclusions on a subject- and all still be right! When you concider what is going on around us- that everything is energy, and our senses are only interperetting energy in different ways- it is no wonder we come to so many different conclusions. Would be kinda ridiculous if we all came to the same ideas about things- wouldn't be much fun at all actually. :) Anyways- just thinking out loud. :)

If anthropology has taught me anything, it's that there isn't just one right answer. ;)
I remember when I was a kid I heard some wise adult say “Well, do you wanna be right, or do you wanna be happy?”
How cool that was. How true it is.
Totally, Bry. Whoever told you that is very wise. I often ask myself that question to keep myself in check- 'do I want to be right, or do I want to feel good?'

we allow ourselves to have 1001 choices of beer, but only one choice of 'rightness'? Never made Sense to me either….
