Well, I do believe that the earth is going to go thru some sort of change.  I also believe in the shift of consciousness happening-- but I believe that *has been* happening for some time now.  I mean, look at this place!  Zaadz?  Have you ever seen so many consciously aware people, passionately looking for answers?  Have they ever had the ability to come together and talk?  Many people I talk to on Zaadz say they have never had the oppertunity to talk to like minded people-- let alone thousands of them!  So that sort of fast communication must have some effect on the whole.

I have read all of the predictions and all of the stories, and I do believe the earth will go thru a sort of "balancing", where it will shake, land will split, buildings will crumble-- but I believe this is a natural process that science has not yet had the oppertunity to visit.  I believe this process simply keeps the earth in its orbit, but I think when such an event happens-- it catches people off guard, and they search deeper and more passionately for the meaning of life. 

Will this happen on 2012?  I have no idea.

My survival skills teacher, who was taught by native elders, was also taught about the natives version of the shift.  They believe pretty much what I just explained, but they see it as the earth clensing itself.  I dont know if I believe that-- I think coming into balance sounds more close to the truth than a clensing of a disease-- I am not a cynical type who believes humans are a disease. ;)  I believe the planet is healthy-- and these changes we see are significant, but I would observe more, and learn more, before jumping to conclusions that cause people to alter their behavior greatly.

I'll tell you what feels very right to me.  Is that all is well in the universe, it is expanding, and we all have powerful guidance within us.  When the Tsunami came, there were so many stories of tribes in the area who ran up to the mountains and survived-- or entire villages which were closer to the water than others, but  they were ok because of the massive forest protecting them.  Those listening to their inner voice have nothing to fear.  Ever. Pay attention to your feelings, people. :)  Practice now, while the goings easy.

Another point-- if such a thing were to happen on earth, as I believe it will-- not only will you have a strong emotional response-- life will be giving you plenty of signs, well in advance.  And if that’s not enough, just get used to watching the animals and critters that live around your home.  Study their patterns for a couple weeks, and when you are outside enjoying nature, you will notice right away if one of those patterns changes.  They will react right away, hours in advance-- your pets will too.  They are not as doubtful to their guidance as most humans are.

Personally, I have a survival kit in the trunk of my car.  Not just for sudden planetary shifts, but for anything that may require it.  It has a knife, fire making materials, stuff to protect from the rain and cold, water filters...  all stuffed into one convenient 'bob the builder' kids size back pack! woo hoo! ;)  I plan to prepare more going forward, as I have a strong, undoubtable feeling that something like this will happen in the years to come-- but since I have time to pre-pave the way with my intentions, I see myself sitting in a safe place, watching it all on TV. ;)  While I believe some places will be devastated, there will be similar places of safety.  That's where I'll be. ;)
