Two Incredible Movies!

Posted on Apr 13th, 2006 by dave : Good Vibes dave

I have seen two of the best movies in the past two weeks.

A couple weeks ago I saw V for Vendetta which totally blew my mind.  It had some very cool themes in the movie.  For me, what I liked about it the most (besides for the action, Natalie Portman, and the cool comic book/anime feel) was the themes about change and death.  Since I have been reading Home with God by Neale Donald Walsch concurrently-- it is something I have been thinking about a lot.

And to be 100% completely honest, I am over it.

Life goes on...and on and on and on... =)  Being afraid to live AND afraid to die... that’s no way to live. ;)  V for Vendetta is an extremely empowering movie that I recommend for everyone.

I am really not all about overthrowing the government-- the government doesn't bother me one bit-- I could care less actually, I am too busy having a good time here on planet earth to give any thought to such things.  But what I am all about is living without fear.  Living... just living.

You cannot experience life, until you have overcome your fear of death.  I really believe that.  How can you experience yourself as an eternal being if you think life ends after we shed this physical body??  Insanity.  Get over it!

Another movie that deserves it's own blog is The Secret

This INCREDIBLE movie is all about the law of attraction, and how our thoughts are actually manifesting our desires (or manifesting what is not wanted).  Basically, whatever you put your attention on is what you will get.  Thoughts become things.  No mind can enter any environment and simply observe.  Every mind is fully equipped with its own reality creation devices that effect everything it looks at.

This movie is fantastic, and sums up the philosophy behind my website, Feel Good Vibes perfectly.  To the T.  If you watch the movie, pay very careful attention to the last scene, and what the lady writes in the sand.  Never forget it.

Hey Dave, I just want to second, third and even fourth the suggestion to see The Secret. I watched it 3 times on Easter Sunday after reading your recommendation and loved it. I think it does a great job of distilling the essence of the greatest spiritual lessons. I am passing it on to everyone I know.

Thanks for the great recommendation!

Awesome Zack! Glad you liked it!  Definitely one of the best movies ever created, and it is the philosophy that Feel Good Vibes is based on. =)  Thanks for chiming in!
