Manifestation and my take on Action

A Note Of Appreciation

First of all, I want to thank many of you for the kind words.  I often get very inspired when talking to you guys.  This blog is a result of thoughts stimulated by my new friend Nancy, and my good buddy Flex.  Check them out, they are "tha hotsauce". ;)

Bringing Yourself Into Alignment With What You Want

We are creators.  That is why we are here, to create whatever our hearts desire, and relish in the beauty, the magnificence, the joy of our creations.  It never stops.  We never get it done.  It is just one joyful experience after another.  We do not have to justify our exsistance!  It is done, we exsist.  I see people struggling all around me, and I am thankful for the contrast, because it brings me into alignment with what I really am.  I see them struggling and it reminds me to just chill out.  The problem with most of us is not that we are not asking, but it is in the recieving of our desires that we get mixed up.  Many of us, either now, or in the past throw ourselves into action.  We start moving, and we keeping moving, and then we move some more and then some more, and we do not stop moving!  Because after all, this is a sure fire way to see progress in front of our eyes.  And there is no arguing that if you want money, and then work and work and work and work, that you will indeed get some money.  There is no arguing that if you want success and work hard enough, that you will eventually get it.

But then again, if i wanted to go around the world and started walking, there is no doubt I would eventually make it, perhaps 50 years from now.  But when we have tools and the ability to make the trip in a couple weeks or less...why run?  I can speak from my own experience that the appeal for me was I could see results in front of my eyes right away.  And it did not take any believing, any questioning, nor did it create too much joy.  Perhaps a little bit at the end, briefly.

Something I talk about often is where does action come into all of this?  "Even if we won the lottery, what if we did not buy the lotto ticket in the first place?"  And this is a good question.

Act when inspired.  Chances are you had a quick dream about being a millionaire and went out and got the ticket.  And then joyously thought about all the things you would buy, all the people you would help, etc.  Perfect.  Let it be.   When we act from a place of joy, action IS a joy.  When we act from a place of lack, or a place of "there is not enough", we are blocking our own creation, because of the contradiction in belief and desire.  Beliefs and desires always have to match for creation, and sometimes we have to convince ourselves what we want can happen.  Make it up, because it will happen, the universe guarentees that, we just have to convince ourselves.

If action feels like a struggle, stop where you are.  Don't move.  Get clear on what you want.  See the solution, see it all coming together.  Flow some energy in that direction.  Clam yourself down, distract yourself, do something else for a little bit.  It will be much more productive to get  yourself in a good feeling place, and THEN acting, rather than continuing to act while feeling frusterated out of your mind.

See the difference?  One feels like a joy, the other feels like a chore.  One feels easy, one feels hard.  One is simply following the train tracks of our emotions, and the other is off roading all over the place, searching frantically for what we want.

Life should really just be a chillin good time.  An exciting adventure.  What can you do this moment to raise your vibration? What can you do  now to make this moment just a little bit better?

Have a great weekend!  Take it easy!

“Tha hotsauce.”  Nice. :)

“We are creators.” True dat.

My thoughts on how action fits into this with my slight tweak to the formula (if I may):

Step 1 is always: Know what you want (I call it having clear “intention”…which is God/spirit speaking to you through your desires as you and AH brilliantly articlulate). Although it’s simple in concept, I think it takes a LOT of continued focus to truly know what you want–in a global sense and a moment to moment sense. We must put in the work. (And, yes, it’s work. Fun work (most of the time) but requires we show up. :)

Step 2 is: act impeccably. Fearlessly. Authentically. Knowing you’re simply allowing God to flow thru you. No attachment. Just create. Serve. Be. Effortless effort.

Then the flow is overwhelmingly positive.

The only thing I get a little antsy about when I read this is the undrlying idea that we just think of what we want and it just shows up (with little, if any “work” or “action”). First of all, few know what they rilly want (mosly because they haven’t put in the effort b/c it feels too much like work!! ;). But even when we do know we want to be in Arizona, we still need to get in the car and drive there. And if you want to create a business you need to create it. Action is imperative.

And, in the process of creating a business or driving to Arizona, it’s possible (even likely) you will hit a snag or a pothole or whatever. That isn’t the problem. The problem is our attachment to not hitting the pothole. When we know where we’re going, we simply pull off the road, fix the tire and move on…Never  forgetting where we’re headed and the ease with which (from a big picture) we are arriving there…

I’m rambling now, but (for me) the fact is that it does take some “effort” to make life effortless. The trick (I think) is to have the discipline to create a mindset and lifestyle in which we are consistently inspired…such that the effort becomes effortless…but, that takes effort. :)

No need for it to cause stress, but I get a little nervous about the idea that there “shouldn’t” be stress therefore we should avoid it…cuz we need to move thru that to reach the higher state where there isn’t  “stress.”

I will shut up now.

GREAT stuff, sir.

Yours in having a great weekend and flowing in the joy of blissful creation. (Now I need to take the action of going to Kinko’s to FedEx the stock certificates for our new investors :)

Namaste,

Thanks for the comments you two!

Brian:  This stuff makes for a fun discussion, eh? :)

I really appreciate how open you are, and how you are able to integrate great truths into your life, and make it easy to understand for others.  That is a talent within itself.  Bravo.  I love what you said about the pothole scenario.  Wht has worked for me is focusing on the solution everytime I get to one, and then aligning my action with the solution.  After all, why focus on a pothole when there’s miles and miles of clear open road to focus on.  It has been my experience that potholes happen when we change our minds.  For example, perhaps i set a clear intention, followed thru with inspired action, only to wonder if it was the path I wanted to go on.  Those snags usually provide an excellant oppertunity for reflection, and asking “do I want to keep going on this clear and open road, or do I want to choose another clear and open road?  Great stuff…

One of my Aikido teacher said, “If we want to make things a little bit easier, simply work a little bit harder”.

I too believe it takes effort to make life effortless.  Although I believe that effort comes in making an “effort” to feel good everyday, to feel better every moment, to constantly strive for better feeling thoughts.  I do not doubt that life is delivering to me everything that I am asking for. I do often scan myself for how I might be able to be a better reciever.  Because I know if I am not getting what I want, the problem is not with the flawless universe, but the solution lies in relaxing, lessening resistance, laughing, and in some cases, letting it go and focusing on something that will take my mind off my responsibilities.

For example, I was so consumed with the problem of being in debt.  I could not stop thinking about it, and when I got into AH, I began to focus on the solution to being in debt. I believe once would have been enough, and then letting it go, ready to recieve.  But I constantly imagined a solution, even when it didn’t feel good.  Even when I knew I felt bad about it, because the thoughts were coming from a place of lack. So I said, “ya know what, it is more important to feel good and feel light hearted and relaxed than anything else in the universe.  The reason I want to be out of debt is because I believe I will feel better afterwards. (I would say that is the only reason we want anything, is because we will feel better)”.  So I forgot about it.  i said, “I put the request into the universe, the solution is coming even if I can’t imagine what it will be, back to feeling good now”.  And the went and played some DDR.  About 5 days later, I get a call from a family member saying I had $9k saved in some bank account for future use”.  And while I found out it was intended for my college education, they decided to sign it over in my name.  My debt is about exactly $9k.  Just under.  =)

I agree. That quote IS magical.

I have some issues with the apparent magical manifestation of the $9,000 though.  :) Sir Ninja: are you saying that cuz you set your intention not to worry about cash that it created the $9,000?

When you ask, it is given.  That is automatic.  Source energy delivers right away.  Our desires are available to us the moment we ask.  The trick is to bring yourself into alignment with the desire.  To be in recieving mode, to bring yourself up to speed with what you have already created.

The asking for financial stability came when I was in debt.  In the knowing of what I did not want, I found what I did want: financial freedom.  Abundance.  Stability.  Security…

But because I was so focused on debt, the law of attraction has no choice but to deliver more of it.

So I ask, it was given, but I thought, “not enough money, not enough money, not enough money.”…  So I was not up to speed with my own creation.  The moment I stopped focusing on what I did not want, and focused on what I did want, I went back into recieving mode.  Which to be honest, I was not in since the initial “asking”.

To put it another way: I felt the way now, the way I wanted to feel without the debt.

So with that, everything was in alignment to recieve, i left the timing up to the universe (since I fully trusted in it’s ability to get me the money), and then 5 days later is when i got the phone call that I had this mutual fund that had collected several thousand dollars over the years that was intended for my college education.  But since I have no intention of going back to school, it was offered to me for whatever I’d want to use it for. AND it just so happened that it had gained a thousand dollars over the past few months because of the market doing so well.

I knew it was coming, but was very excited to see the creativity involved in the delivering of the money.  One might say I would of had a better chance of winning the lottery than this family member signing over 9k to me.  lol

Fair enough.

From my perspective (and I believe AH would agree), source is not “delivering” anything. It’s already there. (Interesting especially in your example, eh? ;)

Having said that, I COMPLETELY agree that we must live in the state of allowing; that we attract that which we focus on, etc. We just differ a little in how I would describe your good fortune (and that’s OK).

With clear intention and a knowing we can, to quote AH, “be, do, or have anything we desire.” What a fun game, eh? :)

Yep.  It is always already there. A fun game indeed.  Great chat.  I truly appreciate and honor our differences.

One more thing (then I’ll shut up ;) : For me, ALL my stress dissolves when I make my greatest desire (global and moment-to-moment) the pursuit of how I can give myself most fully to the world.

Thanks for the great stimulation!  How inspiring.

One of my favorite quotes that I believe applies to this conversation (and one that I live my life by) is that “Spirit (aka the Universe) meets us at the point of our actions.”  We are not just creators, we are co-creators.  And with a powerful partner like Spirit, heck, I’m going for the stars!  ;-)

Here’s to bigger, broader horizons for us all!

“It is not in the pursuit of happiness that we find fulfillment, it is in the happiness of pursuit.” - Denis Waitley

Is it just coincidence that when we know that everything is going to work itself out, what we choose to practise when we have that attitude is actually what we consciously know will achieve the desired outcome?

Are the two interconnected? is this relationship a necessity? or in fact is it that we just happen to be creative beings, though if we weren’t, everything would happen just as it would anyway.

Personally I couldn’t give a damn.That sh!t aint worth a dime people.Stop judging and end your problems.

You know when you just go with what feels right, it saves on a lot of explaining and personally I can say that it makes life worth living.

So go out there and do your thing, whatever it is brothers and sisters.

Go do it!

Cheers!
